Tonight starting at 5 pm and running until 10 pm Baskin Robbins is holding their 31 cent scoop night! For more information and to find a store near you, go here.
For those who live near me, the BR on Franklin Road is participating! Another thing to note (that my husband will love) is that each person may purchase three scoops of icecream at 31 cents each!
If you ever find yourself at Valley View Mall in Roanoke Virginia, be sure to eat at Los Dos Amigos Mexican Grill inside the mall near Barnes and Noble.

I love this restaurant. The mexican food is out-of-this-world and the portion sizes are more than I can usually eat. I love combo #5: Enchilada, Quesadilla, and Rice for $4.75 My dear husband love the Steak Fajitas.
As the summer approaches, many of us will be traveling on vacation. We might even go through each others home towns and not even know it! You know what I love about knowing someone in a town that I am traveling through? They know where to eat! I love the Mom and Pop places that are not owed by a chain but are places too good to pass up!
So, each week I will start posting places that I have traveled to and the places that I have found to eat. I will try to give you a price range, kiddo prices too, and the address. I am trying to get a linky up but in the mean time, if you have a great place to eat, write about and then send me you link. I will "guest post" you!

On this Easter Sunday I just wanted to share one of my favorite songs. I hope that you all know and have a true and saving faith in Jesus Christ. Christ alone died on the cross, was buried, rose on the third day, and now sits at the right hand of the Father. Christ alone has paid your debt. All you have to do is believe on Him and you will be saved.
The lyrics to my one of my favorite songs- In Christ Alone
In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand
In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
‘Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live
There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ
No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
‘til He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand
