Each day during school we work on sight words. Monday it was “my”. Yesterday it was “two”. Today it was “but”.
I had Gracie spelling the word out loud.
Have you ever spelled the word “but” out loud? It sounds like a completely different word- (b)ea(u)(t)y.
How in the world did we come up with this fune langwige?
