Lesson Learned

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a ton of cereal and stashed it in my "Stash Tote" I also had in my tote a couple boxes of laundry sheets. When I opened the cereal, not only had the wonderful smell of the laundry sheets permeated the cardboard box but also the plastic outer-wrap and the cereal itself.

Lavender flavored Honey-Nut Cheerios and Kix just don't go down well.

I emailed General Mills, fully admitted that the error was mine, not theirs, but asked for help anyway. They emailed me back that since they appreciated me as a customer, they would send me coupons to replace the cereal.

The lesson to be learned-always contact the company if there is a problem. Companies are always more than willing to help to keep your business, even when the fault is your own.
