Today's Question:
What Unconventional Toys do you have for your Baby/Toddler?
As a mom of three, my house has more than it's fair share of toys. The favorite of my seven month old? A set of measuring spoons. Yep, an inexpensive set of plastic measuring spoons bring so much joy! They provide an interesting sound when shaken, are easy for her little hands to grasp and hold on to, and they are great for chewing on. And, they are so easy to clean, just toss in the dishwater each evening, unlike the cloth toys that contain rattles which can hold germs for a long time.
If you decide to treat your little one to a set of spoons, be sure to get plastic ones that are on a solid ring to hold them all together. Also, look for ones that might have texture and bright colors on them for an added bonus. My set have a little rubber section on them.
